Talisman Donation Drive

Talisman is a popular hit at this blog, and I've been asked many times to update the gamebox to include the newer expansions:

  • The Highland Expansion
  • The Sacred Pool Expansion
  • The Dragon Expansion

I do not have these expansions in my possesion, and although I would love to make the gamebox complete, I do not currently have the budget to purchase these expansions. Therefore I have started the Talisman donation drive. You will find a PayPal Donate button on the left side of this blog. If I receive enough donations I pledge to buy the expansions, add them to the ZunTzu gamebox in the same style as the current content, and look at creating a Talisman VASSAL module as well.

  3. hi, me and my friends play this set you put out ALL THE time so THANK you for it very much it does get used, as we live all over the country and we use teamspeak to play this, a few quick things

    if we were to donate would you be willing to do the highlands expasion first?

    How long does it Normally take you to Convert and Expasion AND package it in with your Main package (so we can play ALL the expasions at once!)

    How much do you need per expasion

  4. Hi Marine436,

    I can't promise a timeframe for when it'd be done, since it's done in spare time, but it'd be given priority over other projects. Once I got the actual materials it should be a few weeks to digitize everything (get a nice image of the board(s), scan all the cards, photograph the minis, etc), incorporate it into the game box, and making sure it all works. If you'd want me to do Highlands first, and others later (or not at all), there could be an intermediary game box faster with just The Highland added in.

    Based on local prices I'd need:
    Sacred Pool €19
    Highland €31
    Dragon €32

    I'm also happy to include your name or tag in the game box artwork.

    My usual store has it in stock, so I should be able to get them fairly quickly once I have the funds.

  8. Hi, I've updated the total for you. Still 0. I guess people either don't want these expansions added or are perhaps worried about giving their money to me. In any case this is not a for profit website, so I do what I can.
